Narendra Modi vs Manmohan Singh: the 2014 warriors

The BJP has listed scores of specific proposals aimed at supporting its claims of good governance, development and security. The economy also receives specific attention in the BJP manifesto, which the party alleges has suffered in the 10 years of the Congress led UPA rule.
The battle for the next parliamentary polls, scheduled for mid-2014, has already begun and the present scenario resembles Mahabharat, with political parties – both the Congress and the BJP  pretending to be the best, while accusing the congress of being the devil. No one can predict how the battle will go, but many predictions are flying already in the political sky that the battle will be between Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi, even though rahul gandhi has not yet been declared officially as the prime ministerial candidate by congress party. After  three consecutive  victory in the state assembly elections in Gujarat , Modi has been on the aggressive mood against the Congress and  he slap Congress-led UPA Government that UPA is destroying the nation like a termite and called Prime Minister Manmohan Singh a ‘night watchman’. “They did not realize that the night will be so long and dark “Congress is destroying this country like termites. It is very difficult to deal with termites – you finish them in one place and they rise in another. The only medicine for this ailment is sweat of the BJP worker. Only this sweat can free this nation from this termite ,” Modi said in his speech.
Modi accused the Congress of promoting corruption, Modi said, “The time has come to draw a comparison between the Congress and the BJP. While BJP is for a mission, Congress is for commission. The contest will be between mission and commission. As a buffer, they appointed an economist to the post of PM,” he said.

Stung by the harsh criticism, Congress hits back  Mani Shankar Aiyer said ‘Modi called us termites, he is a scorpion and a snake.’’ Taking a strong objection to Modi’s language (of calling the Prime Minister a night watchman), Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Rajeev Shukla, said, “He does not know the definition of a night watchman. Even after nine years, Manmohan Singh has been playing a crucial role in steering the country through grim global economic situation. Credit should be given to that night watchman.” This modern Mahabharata should be a TASTY gripping story. So,Keep moving on.
